Some goodbyes deserve more than a goodbye.
There are 90 million pet-owning households in the United States. And every single one of them will face the same inevitable moment — the moment their companion leaves.
When that moment comes, the options are limited. An urn on a shelf. Ashes scattered in a garden. A paw print in clay. These are tender gestures, but for many families, they don't match the scale of the loss. When you lose a presence that shaped your mornings, your evenings, and every space in between, a box on a bookshelf can feel like an afterthought.
Flyaway Pets was created because we believed there should be another option. Something that matches the enormity of what a pet means to the people who love them. Something that takes the love you carry and gives it a destination worthy of its weight.
We send your companion's ashes into orbit — not as a symbol, but as a real mission aboard a real spacecraft. Because they weren't a symbol. They were real. And they deserve something real in return.
Flyaway Pets is not a logistics company booking payload space on someone else's rocket. We are the spacecraft company.
Our team is a nanosatellite development group based in Nashville, Tennessee. We design, engineer, and build our own satellite platforms — small, capable spacecraft designed for low Earth orbit missions.
When your companion's ashes launch aboard a Flyaway satellite, they launch aboard a vehicle we built with our own hands, in our own facility, launched from American soil. That is a level of authenticity and control that no one else in this space can offer.
Nashville, Tennessee. Built with precision. Launched with love.

Every one of our nanosatellites is designed and assembled in Nashville, Tennessee. From circuit board to solar panel, from payload integration to final testing — these are spacecraft born in Music City, built by a team that believes precision engineering and deep compassion are not mutually exclusive.
When we say your companion is aboard a Nashville-built spacecraft, we mean every component was touched by the hands of people who understand what this mission means to you.
We are not in the business of selling grief. We are in the business of honoring love.
Every decision we make — from the weight of The Keepsake Box to the wording on the Flight Certificate — is guided by a single question: Does this honor the bond between a pet and the person who loved them?
We don't rush families. There is no deadline to return a Keepsake Box. We don't upsell grief. Every tier is a complete, meaningful memorial. We don't exaggerate. When we say your companion is in orbit, we mean they are physically, verifiably in orbit.
This isn't about spectacle. It's about scale — giving an outsized love an outsized farewell. A pet who was your whole world deserves a goodbye that acknowledges the world they were.
Some companions didn't just share your life — they served alongside you. They protected. They healed. They saved lives. And some of them didn't come home.
The Hero Pets Program is Flyaway's commitment to honoring military working dogs, law enforcement K-9s, search and rescue animals, certified therapy pets, and service animals who served their communities and their people.
Qualifying Hero Pets receive special recognition on their memorial pages, a dedicated Hero Pets mission badge on their Flight Certificate, and priority placement on upcoming missions. We believe that animals who served deserve a final mission of their own — one last flight, carried with the honor they earned.
We don't broker payload space. Our team designs and manufactures its own nanosatellite platforms. Your companion flies aboard a vehicle we built from scratch.
Chain-of-custody tracking from intake to orbit. Real mission data. Live orbit tracking. You can verify your companion's journey at every step.
Built in Nashville. Launched from U.S. soil using domestic launch providers. No overseas middlemen. No unknown hands on your companion's memorial.
A love this big deserves a farewell this bold. We're here to make it happen.
